Accessibility Statement
This website is designed to conform to WCAG 2.2 level AA. A significant share of neurosurgical patients live with visual, motor or cognitive impairment, so accessibility is a baseline requirement here rather than an optional feature.
Measures in place
- Contrast ratios close to AAA between text and background
- Keyboard access to every interactive element, with a visible focus indicator
- Meaningful HTML structure, a skip link and field-level form error messages for screen readers
- An accessibility menu offering text size, high contrast and reduced motion options
- Respect for the operating system dark theme and reduced motion preferences
- Alternative text on images; decorative icons hidden from assistive technology
Known limitations
Embedded video players belong to third-party platforms and their accessibility behaviour is outside our control. Videos load only after the visitor presses play.
